PLUSBUS is a discount price bus pass (like a travelcard) that you buy with your train ticket. It gives you unlimited bus travel around the origin and/or destination town of your rail journey. Buy PLUSBUS with your train ticket at any rail station ticket office, by 'phone or onlineit's easy. With a PLUSBUS ticket you can travel anywhere on most buses around the whole urban area of town. You can also use it for travel by tram in Birmingham, Nottingham, Sheffield & Wolverhampton.

PLUSBUS is available for 275 towns in Britain click here for map. Birkenhead, Dartford & Horsham joined PLUSBUS on 2 January.

PLUSBUS is available for 13 towns in Northern Ireland click here.

    You cannot buy PLUSBUS if your train journey is between two stations wholly within the same town.

    You willl be issued with tickets for all your train & bus travel. Your PLUSBUS ticket will have '+BUS' printed after the relevant station name e.g. 'BEDFORD+BUS'. Simply show this ticket to the bus driver.

    To start of your journey with bus travel, buy PLUSBUS in advance from a station, by 'phone or online (and have it posted to you).

    Already got your rail season ticket? You can still buy a PLUSBUS ticket. Take your rail season ticket to a ticket office and ask for a PLUSBUS ticket for 7-days, a month or 3-months up to the expiry date of your rail season ticket.
