Buy PLUSBUS online
PLUSBUS tickets can now be purchased with train tickets online for the first time.
www.QJump.co.uk and www.tpexpress.co.uk are two of
Britain's largest online retailers of train tickets.
Jonathan Radley, Commercial Director of Journey Solutions (the bus and rail industry partnership
behind PLUSBUS), said: "Online sale of
PLUSBUS tickets is an exciting and very important step forward in our
retail strategy. For the first time in Britain, public transport users can buy tickets for their entire
door-to-door journey by train and bus from one website."
PLUSBUS tickets bought online can be posted to the
customer, or collected from a nominated rail station self-service vending machine before starting the journey.
Other online train ticket retailers, such as www.thetrainline.com
are due to start selling PLUSBUS tickets online by the end of June 2009.

Further expansion of PLUSBUS due in May
From Sunday 17 May 2009, PLUSBUS
(Britain's award-winning integrated train to bus ticketing system) will be available to five more
rail-served towns and three existing PLUSBUS destinations in Scotland will start offering season
tickets to rail commuters for the first time. PLUSBUS will then be available
to 265 rail-served towns and cities across Britain, with season tickets available to over 80%
of them
New PLUSBUS destinations:
Chichester, Corby, East Grinstead, Loughborough
and Skegness.
Existing PLUSBUS destinations introducing
season tickets:
Ayr, Dumfries and
Kilmarnock.

means that rail travellers can buy tickets for their entire journey by train and bus in one
convenient transaction at the rail station and also cut the cost of their journey."
