Cornwall House

Yellow Georgian-fronted building with white windows

Cornwall House is the last remaining private residence on Monmouth’s main shopping street.

Step inside this town house, which dates back to at least the 17th century. Admire many of the original features that have remained untouched over hundreds of years, including a very fine staircase. Step outside to explore the original walled garden, built in the 1750s.

The house is open on selected dates throughout the year.
